What is Cardio training and what are its advantages?

In order for an exercise to be considered as "cardiovascular" or "aerobic", it needs to elevate your heart rate to 60 to 85 percent of its maximum rate. When you're in this aerobic zone, you should be able to talk, but not be able to carry on a long conversation.

Most experts agree that cardiovascular training should last for 20 to 60 minutes, with the norm being 30 to 40 minutes. It should be performed a minimum of three days per week, with four to five days being optimal and six being the max.

Yoga is an excellent form of exercise for the mind and spirit.Yoga practitioners also learn to control their breathing. The concentration required during a yoga session helps take your mind away from daily stress.

A recent study by Boston University found that one hour of yoga boosts the levels of gamma-aminobutyric, a neurotransmitter that helps reduce anxiety and depression. Yoga is also good exercise for the body. Many of the poses associated with yoga require great physical flexibility.

Even basic asanas require you to stretch the muscles, which increase your overall range of motion. This increased flexibility makes you less vulnerable to injury. It is also great for improving core body strength.


The steam room is beneficial for people suffering from sleeping disorders, poor skin circulation, dry and chapped skin, muscular tension, muscular weakness in the subcutaneous blood vessels and sensitivity to sudden temperature variations.

Another great advantage of the steam bath is its highly beneficial effect on the skin. The moist heat stimulates the subcutaneous blood flow and cleanses the skin intensively, opening the pores, removing dead skin and impurities and leaving the skin feeling soft, supple, clean and smooth.
